Sometimes God allows us to wander off, so that we can remember that we are going off track. But that doesn't mean he wont hear us. Have you ever tried a new food not expecting to like it, but end up loving it. Sometimes when we wander off, its like giving us a new opportunity to trust in the Lord for him to redirect us.
However we might feel that we have been redirected on a different route, which might be harder than before. This is were God is pruning you, molding you, and shaping you. Because he is making you qualified for whatever he has in store for you. An athlete doesn't go out into a sport without training. Your life is your training for whatever is next.
Exodus 14:13 “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today…… 14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.
Sometimes we choose to stay stagnant because we are afraid of wandering off. Because what's out there might be worst. Remember "If God is with you, that nothing can stand against you." He is in the details. Trust in Him and allow Him to bring out your best in His name.
No matter the journey. Weather it be climbing up mountains, or gliding through the air, or if you cant see the finish line, the most important thing to do is to put GOD ABOVE EVERYTHING.
