“Colors make things more aesthetically appealing and perceptually meaningful,” explains Nabiilah Ardini, a data science and visualization enthusiast. I understood this from an early age, being exposed to the world of visual arts by my father who was a photographer by profession.

Color management is essential to make the photo stand out. It uses a three-part process: image creation/acquisition, image processing/enhancement, and image reproduction. These stages mirror the way God transforms our lives.  He uses the original image, the carnal minded man or woman; He then makes us more attractive by adding brightness, contrast and tone to our lives through His word and the Holy Spirit, which then makes us into a Christ-like image.

God makes everything beautiful in His time (Ecclesiastes 3:11). He uses special attributes to mold us into a true likeness of Himself. We become a new person: “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2Corinthians 5:17, KJV).

Reflection: Is your life reflecting the true colors of Christ?

Lord, make me new and vibrant. Give me the right contrast, color and tone to represent your likeness well and draw others to you.
