The mind can be easily flooded with worry, anxiety and negative thoughts. It can be frustrating and overwhelming! But it is possible to experience Rest, and for the mind to become overwhelmed with the Peace of Christ. Our flow of Life must begin in the Holy Spirit (as we are spiritual beings) so our thoughts and attitudes can be renewed (Eph 4:23).
Exercise Daily surrender (give yourself over) to the Spirit of Christ so an excellent spirit would abide in you. Surrender requires that you come out of your own mind and allow your All-knowing God to teach you. As you mature in Christ you become transformed by believing in him with childlike faith (Luke 18:17, Matthew 18:3). Abundant life comes when we trust him with all, in all.
In all things consider these questions, what is my mindset and is it one that is renewed in Christ? Have I surrendered to the love of the Father or am I giving myself over to the spirit of the enemy?
Lastly, pray that the Lord would remove the need to understand everything (what is seen in the flesh), but trust in what he is doing in the unseen (in the spirit).
